Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) in Nursing is a four-year professional medical course. To pursue B. Sc. nursing the candidates should have minimum eligibility criteria, like having completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as necessary subjects!! There is an entrance examination to get admission to B.Sc. Nursing. degree in India is widely accepted around the globe since the course teaches nursing science along with the essence of humanities; however, it might vary in different regions with different requirements.
There are two-course options for nursing first is B. Sc. (Basic) and second is B. Sc. (Post-Basic)
For BSc (Basic) – Candidates should pass 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and should be medically fit.
For BSc (Post-Basic) – Candidates should pass 10+2 in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). One has to be certified in GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) and register him/herself as RNRM (Registered Nurse Registered Midwife) from the State Nurses Registration Council.
Admission to BSc Nursing is mostly based on entrance exam scores and merit lists. BSc Nursing admission is based on entrance exams mainly.
